for your Quartz countertops: |
Our Quartz surfaces
require very little maintenance to retain
both color and shine.
Even tea, soda, wine, vinegar, lemon juice, and strongly colored
spices are no problem.
Just wipe away with a little liquid detergent and a damp cloth, and
the surface is like new.

Stains and spots: |
Any multi-purpose
cleaner or detergent can be used. For extra-stubborn spills,
use a scouring pad - it won’t damage the surface.
To remove adhered materials like food, gum, nail polish, dried paint, etc, first
scrape away the excess with a sharp blade.
If there are any grey metal marks on the surface, a regular cleaning agent will
remove them.

Resistance |
Our Quartz surfaces
can tolerate moderately hot temperatures for brief periods of time
without
warping,
discoloring or otherwise being damaged.
This makes our surfaces ideal for kitchens.
However, take care to avoid direct contact and radiant heat for a
long time with hot items.

| Honed
Finish |
Quartz
is known for its low maintenance qualities, however, honed finishes
do require more active maintenance due to their ‘rougher” surface.

| Chemicals
and Cleaners |
As with any surface, Quartz can be permanently damaged by
exposure to strong chemicals and solvents that undermine its physical
properties.
Do not use products that contain trichlorethane or methylene chloride,
such as paint removers or strippers.
Avoid any highly aggressive cleaning agents like oven/grill cleaner
that have high alkaline/PH levels. Oily products may leave a residue.
Household bleach can generally be used as an effective cleaner,
but care should be taken as some products are considerably stronger
than others.
Should your surface accidentally be exposed to any of these products,
rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect. In general,
we recommend that all cleaning agents used on Quartz surfaces are
applied for a maximum of 20 minutes and used with sufficient amounts
of
water to dilute their concentration.

Castech, Inc. is pleased
to pleased to offer a warranty that covers more than just manufacturing
defects in the material. Our
warranty covers your project as installed. This is your foremost
assurance of true quality.
Castech warrants to the original owner of a Castech Quartz surfaces
installation that Castech will, at its option, repair or replace,
without
charge, such product if it fails due to any manufacturing, fabricating,
or installation defect during the first ten (10) years after
initial installation except for damage caused by physical or
chemical
abuse or damage from excessive heat. This includes all necessary
and reasonable labor charges needed to repair or replace the
product covered hereunder.
This installed warranty applies only to PERMANENTLY INSTALLED
QUARTZ SURFACE products:

Purchased after January 1, 1996, for use in the United States;

With a brand plate affixed to the installation and fabrication/
installed by Castech certified or approved fabrication/installation
source;

| • |
Which have not been moved from their original
place of installation;

| • |
Which are maintained according to the Castech Quartz Surfaces
Use & Care
Guide. A copy may be obtained, free of charge, from your
Castech certified or approved fabrication/installation source
or by contacting Castech, Inc.

Including seam performance, but not appearance. |
Installation not fabricated/installed by a Castech certified
or approved fabrication/installed source are warranted against
Castech manufacturing defects only, during the first ten years
after initial installation.
Castech’s obligation hereunder is limited solely to the
repair or replacement including necessary and reasonable labor
charges of Quartz products purchased hereunder. No express
or implied warranty of merchantability or “fitness for
a particular purpose is granted by this warranty except as expressly
stated
herein. Except as provided herein, Castech shall not be liable
in either tort or contract for any loss direct, consequential
or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to
use Quartz products hereunder. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,
so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty give the purchaser specific legal rights; other
rights may also be available which may vary from state to state.

surfaces is your ultimate assurance of lasting quality. If we
